Here’s how to copy the metallic and silver jewel nail look from NYFW for less than $20

There were some seriously sparkly nails dancing down the runway at the Naeem Khan Spring/Summer 2018 show at New York Fashion Week. Khan’s dramatic clothing collection was inspired by prima ballerina Anna Pavlova (who inspired a delicious dessert), whose iconic ballet role was The Dying Swan, which was inspired by the love of her pet swan.

Lead nail designer Gina Edwards created a gorgeous mani look, which complemented the elegance and passion of the collection by using KISS Products. The nails featured a silver base with accent nails of cascading crystals and gems.

Here’s how to get the “Crystal Swan” look created by Gina Edwards for Naeem Khan:

Gina used KISS Salon Acrylic Nude French Nails ($7.99) in the oval shape as a base for the tips, but you can definitely recreate the design on your natural nails.

To start, apply two coats of silver polish. Gina used KISS Gel Strong in Iron Woman, $3.99.

Before polish is completely dry, use tweezers to place self-adhesive jewels like KISS Jewel Accents ($2.99) down the side of the nail. Next, apply KISS Real Crystals (about $2.99) to add extra sparkle.

Seal all of your hard nail polish work with a topcoat, and go gracefully into the world.
