Connie Man in awe with TVB cast of "Bet Hur"

22 Jun - Hong Kong actress Connie Man admitted that she has a new-found respect for the stars of TVB after working alongside them in her first TVB drama, "Bet Hur".

As reported on On CC the actress, who has never starred in a television drama since her debut through Wilson Chin's "Lan Kwai Fong 2" in 2012, shared that she has learned a lot from her colleagues from TVB by working on the Wong Jing-produced drama.

"I do think that TVB actors really know how to take good care of themselves. They don't need the crew to remind them where they should be or what they should do. They have great synergy," she said.

Admiring the teamwork among her co-stars, which include Charmaine Sheh, Kenneth Ma, Samantha Ko, and Raymond Wong; Connie said it has been an overall good experience for her.

Connie plays Charmaine's younger sister in the new drama, who would start a romance with Raymond.

"Bet Hur", a homage of Patrick Tse's 1980 drama, "The Shell Game", stars the veteran actor as a gambling guru to two protégés (played by Natalis Chan and Monica Chan). Other stars include Mat Yeung, Louisa Mak, and Dominic Ho.
