Following an opener by teen star bülow, the electro-pop star emerged to his latest hit, ‘Drugs and the Internet’, which his fans reacted wildly to. “Tonight’s gonna be way hotter!” He teased the crowd, before playing the nostalgic singles from his debut album ‘I met you when I was 18 (the playlist)’.

It tugged my heartstrings when the throng sang along to ‘Reforget’, ‘Superhero’, and ‘Chasing Fire’. Even the artist seemed genuinely moved by the emotional energy shared with his legion, reminding them to hydrate themselves.

In between the mellow love songs and intimate fan interactions, Lauv treated us to more tracks, including the snappy tune ‘I’m so tired…’ and head-bopping ‘A Different Way’. It was a smart move to raise everyone’s energy level to a peak. The audience also got a pleasant surprise when he delivered his unreleased single, ‘Sims’.

When the hour-and-a-half set came to an end, the crowd chanted earnestly “Encore!” before the heartthrob re-appeared with his breakout hits, ‘Never Not’ and ‘I Like Me Better’.

Overall, his performance was splendid. It reverberated across the hall, shaking up the audience with his delightful mix of catchy electronic beats and soulful vocals. I am in awe.
