Coffee Lam still adapting to life as a new mother
11 Mar – Although it has been five months since she gave birth to her first baby, Coffee Lam admitted that she is still adapting to her life as a new mother.
As reported on Mingpao, the former TVB actress, who spoke about life after childbirth with the media recently, shared that her main goal in everyday life is to get sufficient sleep.
"After becoming a mother, I realised that a human being can live with less sleep. I have a very naughty baby, who gets up every one to two hours every night and needs to be breastfed," she said.
Coffee revealed that she made it her responsibility not to disturb her husband, as he works nine to five.
"I don't want him to get up in the middle of the night. He is already used to the baby [crying]. But he also helps me on weekends. He does feel sorry for me. He never expected a career woman like me to sacrifice so much for her son," she said.
When asked if her husband has rewarded her anything for giving him a child, she smiled and responded, "I had wanted to travel, but I am unwilling to leave my son. But we will be traveling to Malaysia this month because my husband is Malaysian. We're going to visit his family."
