Coco Yuen wants privacy with boyfriend Mario Ho
20 Feb - Coco Yuen admitted that it was never her intention to make her romance with Mario Ho public, as reported on Mingpao.
The singer, whose relationship with the casino tycoon's son made the news back in November last year after they shared a Halloween photo dressed as The Joker and Harley Quinn, stated that the two of them initially wanted to have a low-key relationship.
"We just wanted to have a simple romance and be happy. But now that it's in the open and people is paying attention to us, it hasn't been easy," she admitted.
Coco also knew that a lot of people talked about her behind her back, especially since she is dating someone from a wealthy background.
"I won't mind it. People talk, and I can't control them. The most important thing is to do my own thing and create my own achievement. Let people know that I don't need to rely on my family or my boyfriend, and that I can do things on my own," she said.
As for rumours that Mario is a womaniser - an image he got after being linked to several women including By2's Yumi and Singapore heiress Kimmy Lin - Coco defended her boyfriend, saying, "He is the kind of guy that I am comfortable with. He's a very good boyfriend. We trust each other very much."
