Coco Martin in talks for a movie with Vic Sotto

15 Jun – After much speculations, Coco Martin recently confirmed that he may be starring in a movie alongside Vic Sotto for the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival.

As reported on PEP, the actor who spoke to the media at the 66th FAMAS Awards recently, shared that he has been talking with Sotto about working together.

"I am very much excited, because I have long dreamed of working with [Vic]. Of course, Vic, Tito [Sotto], and Joey [de Leon] are idols in comedy," he said.

When asked if it would create any issue with Vice Ganda since it would be the second time they are not working together for MMFF, Martin said that there should be no problem.

"Our goal is to entertain our viewers. We're not competing or anything. We're helping to make Christmas more fun with the MMFF," he added.

Martin's last project with Ganda was 2016's "The Super Parental Guardians", which failed to make it to the MMFF 2016 shortlist. Last year, the actor focused on his directorial debut, "Ang Panday" while Ganda came out with "Gandarrapiddo: The Revenger Squad".
