Coco Lee undergoes IVF to have children
4 Apr – Coco Lee recently admitted that she has been undergoing in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) so she could have a baby with husband of seven years, Bruce Philip Rockowitz.
As reported on HKET's Topick, the singer, who appeared at a brand event recently, shared that she did her IVF treatment in New York and that it was a frightening and laborious experience for her.
"I have to inject myself three times a day with very thick needles. I had to motivate myself to do it every day," she admitted.
Coco said though the process should only lasted for 10 to 14 days, she had to continue her treatment for another three weeks because it didn't have any effect on her.
"Hopefully my body will get used to the procedure. It is not easy being a woman," she added.
When asked how many children she would want to have, Coco said that she and her husband hope to have two. However, she added, "A child is a gift from God. Even if it fails, it would not matter." Coco, who doesn't have a child of her own with Rockowitz, is a stepmother to the businessman's two adult daughters.
