Coco Lee shares the meaning behind "18"
11 Apr - Coco Lee recently revealed that there is a reason for the number 18 that she had chosen as the title of her world tour.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who was in Hong Kong to promote her upcoming show, shared that the number 18, which is also the title of her new album, marked the turning point of her life.
"When I was 18, I went back to Hong Kong, and participate in a singing competition [New Talent Singing Awards]. Since then, my life has significantly changed," she said.
Coco also admitted that 18 was also the age where she first fell in love.
"18 is the age where one is full of hope and would do crazy things. So at the concert, I hope to do crazy things with my audience," she said.
When asked if she would invite her first love when she was 18 to the concert, Coco responded, "That's a great idea, but we are no longer in contact with each other. He may be a married man now."
The first tour, which will begin on 6 May in Shenzhen, will be held in many locations. In North America, the tour would be held in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Toronto, while the China tour would cover Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Chongqing, Nanjing, Wuhan, Chengdu, Xi'an, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
