Coach launches world’s first Coach Cafe at Keong Siak Road

In collaboration with Brawn & Brains, luxury fashion brand Coach has launched the world’s first Coach Cafe at Keong Siak Road. This is a simultaneous launch with a special concept titled Coach Play Singapore.

Established since 2013, Brawn & Brains has grown steadily in the Singapore cafe scene. Their signature Oven Baked Molten Eggs will not be for sale at Coach Cafe— instead, Coach Cafe wishes to provide a taste of artisanal coffee and classic New York bites.

Rest assured, you are in the right hands when it comes to the coffee supplied by the cafe. Based on their Instagram page, it is evident how serious and involved the brand is with regards to the production of their in-house coffee beans. Serving up all-day breakfast plates such as Chicken & Waffles (S$18), salads and daily bakes, the day menu (until 3pm) is crafted for brunch goers.

For those with a sweet tooth, I personally recommend the Donuts supplied by Brawn & Brains. I still recall how fast they sold out when I briefly worked with Brawn & Brains as a part-time service crew. An assortment of flavours are showcased here— think Cherries & Cream and Zesty Lemon Curd

Visit the space during sundown (from 6pm) to browse through their dessert menu instead. Like any chocolate lover, I was drawn to the The Coach Hot Chocolate featuring C-shaped chocolate pieces in a creamy concoction of chocolate sauce and steamed milk that you can mix in yourself.

Otherwise, fans of vanilla-based desserts have several alternatives including the The Big Apple Crumble Pie with Vanilla Iie cream and The Hangtag Surprise. The latter presents surprise fillings encased in a Chocolate Hangtag alongside vanilla ice cream.

With an ambition to offer clients a one-of-a-kind ‘play’ experience, one can expect to find elements of local and New York elements within the shophouse. Admittedly, I am a sucker for all things fancy, so don’t mind me gladly accepting their invitation to ‘Come in and play’!
