An Up-Close Look at Dr. Martens Year of the Snake Collection [PHOTOS]
Dr. Martens is welcoming the Year of the Wood Snake with a collection featuring snakeskin-embossed leather.
Dr. Martens Year of the Snake collection reimagines the 1460 boot and 1461 shoe. They both include a snake-print backstrap in a contrasting red hue that nods to the traditional lucky color associated with the Lunar New Year. The 1461, a low-top lace-up style, leans into the theme with a red sole. The 1460, meanwhile, is a lace-up boot. Both the 1460 and 1461 come with gold accents and snake charm details. The collection, which also includes a leather backpack, became available on Jan. 2 online as well as in select Dr. Martens stores. The 1460 boot retails for $170; the 1461 shoe is marked at $140; and the backpack is $210. See photos of the collection below.
