WE Cinemas at the new 321 Clementi mall
17 Mar – A brand new mall is now open where the Empress Entertainment Complex once stood, at 321 Clementi Avenue 3 which also comes with a brand new cinema.
The new 321 Clementi is a nine-level mall which houses a two-level cineplex, WE Cinemas, that takes up over 20,000 square feet. With a total seating capacity of 746 seats, the cinema outlet boasts 10 fully digital halls; with two Spectro 3D Cinema Silver Screens, one Dolby Atmos hall and a premium hall called First Class, which is a new premium concept introduced last year.
Other special features at WE Cinemas are Chef's Gourmet menu, weekend late night movies, ticketless admission, WE Club movie privileges and family-friendly programs.
In celebration of the cinema's grand opening, WE Cinemas will be offering 5,000 free movie tickets from now up to 18 March 2015.
Movies that will be screened for free include "Pitch Perfect", "Step Up All In", "Seventh Son", "Maze Runner" and more. The full movie line-up and screening schedule can be obtained from wecinemas.com.sg.
From 19 to 25 March, there will be Free Daily Treats where the cinema patrons will be treated to free snacks. Also from 19 March but lasting until 31 May 2015, there will be weekly prizes to be won. WE Cinemas is owned by Eng Wah Global and the new cinema marks its return after a two-year hiatus from the exhibition scene.
WE Cinemas at 321 Clementi mall is the exhibitor's only cinema to date with more cinemas expected in the future.
In 2013, WE Cinemas moved out from West Mall and Suntec City Mall as other exhibitors like Cathay and Golden Village took over the premises.
