From Cinderella’s Glass Slippers to a Life-Size Yoda: Disney Is Auctioning Off Designer Replicas and Goods for Charity

Disney has teamed up with some of today’s top designers for a good cause.

The entertainment company recently announced the launch of its Create 100 auction in honor of its 100th anniversary. Taking place across 18 countries from now until October 30, the sale allows you to place bids on unique items, artwork, and experiences donated by names including Marc Jacobs, Christian Louboutin, and menswear icon Tommy Hilfiger.

The sale was created in support of the Make-A-Wish foundation, which helps fulfill wishes for children with critical illnesses. Its leading lot, dubbed The Boy and the Bird, is a haute-couture necklace inspired by Cody’s flight on Marahute from Disney’s The Rescuers Down Under. Designed by Schiaparelli creative director, Daniel Roseberry, the gilded brass piece is set with 10,000 Swarovski crystals and is now taking bids at a minimum of $69,472.

A replica of Cinderella’s glass slipper from the 2015 live-action release trails behind as the second most expensive item in the sale, with a minimum bid of $53,440. It is one of five created by Swarovski and took over 150 hours to make. The slipper also features a whopping 221 facets, three crystal pieces, and a crystal-blue color inspired by Aurora Borealis. A $30,000 Namaste Mickey painting donated by artist Sabyasachi Mukherjee rounds out the auction’s top three lots, but a host of other items are just as noteworthy.

Tommy Hilfiger donated two items to Create 100, including a special-edition varsity jacket and red gown made in collaboration with Clarence Ruth of Cotte D’Armes. The jacket features a number of whimsical Mickey Mouse patches on its front and two cheerful expressions of the character on its back. It’s going for a minimum of $835. Other lots include an archive Mickey Mouse sweatshirt by Marc Jacobs (min. bid $455), a Hariko Papier-mâché Yoda by Nigo (min. bid $2,260), and the Marine Serre bodysuit Beyoncé wore in one of the music videos from her Lion King-inspired album Black is King (min. bid $1,610).
