Chef Damian D’Silva views Christmas as an opportunity for warm gatherings and lively feasts shared with friends, family, and neighbours. At Rempapa, an invitation is sent to all to partake in the joy of the occasion through a celebration of cherished heritage flavours.

This season, Rempapa presents the Pork Knuckle Debal (S$98), a dish crafted from a blend of leftover meats from festive feasts, evoking memories of celebration. This Eurasian classic features roast pork, smoked pork knuckle, and potatoes, richly flavoured with a rempah of shallots, Bombay onions, ginger, and dried chilli.

10. Fish Mart Sakuraya

If roasted turkey, ham and Western delights aren’t your jam, why not switch things up to a Japanese-themed Christmas party instead with Fish Mart Sakuraya. Be bold and unique by wowing your guests with the Sushi Log Cake (S$53.46).

This substantial maki roll boasts a delectable combination of crabstick, kaisen salad (contains squid and clam), tamago yaki, and Japanese cucumber. Surrounding the rice, delicate slices of salmon slices are meticulously arranged and then skillfully blow-torched to impart a captivating smokey aroma.

If you were a regular at the now-defunct flagship stall of Prata Lahhh! in Hougang, you would have tried his range of delicious Indian dishes and roti prata. After setting up his new stall at SG Food Court, owner Gautham has his very own catering menu for the upcoming festive season— wouldn’t it be cool to have Indian food for Christmas?

Embark on a gastronomic adventure as you explore the vibrant offerings of the Catering Menu (S$14 per head, min. 30 pax). Select a main course from enticing options such as Briyani Rice, Jeera Rice, Plain Prata, or Mee Goreng.

Next, pair it with favourites like Masala Chicken, Mysore Mutton, Yoghurt Fish, Brinjal Pachadi, and Vege Kurma gravy. Finish off your meal with sweet desserts like Gulab Jamun or Coconut Sago, and drinks including Rose Syrup.
