Christine Ng is returning to the Shaw family

29 May – Seven years after leaving TVB, Christine Ng recently announced that she is returning to her nest.

As reported on Mingpao, on 28 May, the actress posted a photo of her signing a document witnessed by TVB/Shaw Executive Virginia Lok and wrote, "It's a good day today. I finally returned to my mother's house."

"Thank you, Ms. Lok and my pretty idol, Catherine Tsang," she added.

Speaking to the media about her decision, Christine said that she had a great cooperation with Lok when she accepted the offer to do "Flying Tiger" in 2017, which is why she decided to join the Shaw family.

"As long as there is a suitable project, be it with Shaw or TVB, I will definitely take it," she said.

Christine, who was rumoured to have left TVB in 2013 due to a rift with a female senior executive of the said broadcaster, laughed when it was mentioned that her friendship with Lok seemed to debunk the notion that it was the latter.

"I didn't talk about it at the time, and I won't talk about it now. It's over and I should let go. Everybody knows that I am a sensible person," she said in jest.
