Chloe Nguyen admits breakup with Michael Wai
8 Feb – After three years of relationship with actor Michael Wai, "Barrack O'Karma" actress Chloe Nguyen surprised many by revealing that she will be single on this year's Valentine's Day.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who spoke to the media at an event on 7 February, shared as much when asked about her Valentine's Day plans.
"I will be on my own [that day]. I've been separated from [Michael] for some time now. No third party was involved. It was a peaceful breakup," she said.
Chloe added that she is currently adapting to being single again, and has been surrounding herself with friends and work. The actress is set to begin filming her new drama, "Brutally Young 2.0".
"I don't know what will happen in the future, but for now, I just need some time to myself," she stated.
Chloe's romance with the said actor, who is 13 years her senior, made the news back in 2018 after they were spotted shopping at IKEA together. The two were then reported to have started living together with the intention of tying the knot.
The 34 year-old actress is of Chinese - Vietnamese parentage.
