Chingmy Yau says daughter not interested in showbiz
24 Mar – She may have inherited her mother's beauty and talent, but according to Chingmy Yau, her daughter Sham Yuet is not interested in showbiz.
As reported on Mingpao, the former actress who appeared at the 2017 Leader of the Year event alongside husband Sham Kar Wai, shared that she did receive calls from many agencies about her daughter since Yuet's photos went viral online, and asked her 17-year-old about it.
"But she doesn't have a plan to get involved. She wants her own private space," said Chingmy.
The former actress also stated that while Yuet used to share personal photos on social media, she doesn't do it anymore.
"She didn't want everybody to follow her, so she has decided not to join the industry. I told her that she could be a model, but she's afraid now," she said.
