Chinese actress Ren Jiao falls to her death
23 Oct - Speculations continue to swirl as to the cause of death of Chinese actress Ren Jiao.
As reported on On CC, the actress was recently found dead on the lawn beside a hotel in Suzhou, to which it was reported that the 28-year-old must have fallen to her death from the balcony of a hotel room.
While some reports have been claiming that Ren may have overdosed on drugs, others believe that she might have committed suicide due to depression.
However, prior to her death, Ren was seen happily chatting with actor Yang Xuwen, who was also seen heading back to her room on the night of the incident.
On the other hand, good friend Wang Xinyao dismissed the idea of Ren committing suicide, saying that the actress was on a trip with her mother prior to her death.
"She is a happy person. She would not commit suicide," said Wang on social media.
Ren's cause of death has yet to be determined at the time of writing.
