If you look closely at the Dragon Yu Sheng with Suckling Pig and Lobster 蟠龙乳猪捞生, its head is missing 2 eyes. Legend has it that adding the dragon’s eyes turns it into a flying dragon. Each guest picks up a raisin, makes a wish, and places it as the dragon’s eyeball, symbolising an awakening in line with the Chinese idiom: 画龙点睛.
As the dragon transforms into a flying dragon, wishes ascend, turning dreams into reality! Suckling Pig Rings Roll are also woven in to signify a perpetual abundance of prosperity.
This yu sheng is paired with collagen-infused dragon fruit sauce which not only adds a luxurious touch but also introduces a health-conscious element to the dish. Collagen, renowned for its skin-nourishing properties, enhances the beauty and well-being of those savouring this festive treat. Tossing the yu sheng with your loved ones symbolises the auspicious tradition of ushering in prosperity and good fortune for the coming year.
The Premium Seafood Pen Cai with Creamy Golden Butter with Complimentary Fried Buns 流沙奶油海鲜盆菜, showcases lavish portions of rock lobster, prawns, and scallops bathed in a luscious golden butter gravy. Mantou is served for guests to dip into the creamy sauce, absorbing all the delectable flavours.
You can also indulge in the luxurious Golden Premium Traditional Pen Cai 桃苑传统金装盆菜. At the core of this opulent dish are the golden abalones, representing wealth and prestige. They are accompanied by fish maw, sea cucumber, conpoy, duck web, pig’s trotter, dried oyster, Tien Shin cabbage, white radish, mushroom, fa cai and cloud fungus.
This remarkable array of premium ingredients is meticulously layered, forming a visually striking display that reflects the promise of a prosperous dragon year ahead.
Impress the taste buds of ah gong and ah ma with the Traditional Steamed Claypot Rice with Chinese Sausage 港式腊味煲饭, featuring aromatic fluffy rice tossed together with delicious lap cheong and earthy mushrooms for a delightful unison of textures and flavours.
Conclude your CNY feast with a delightful twist on a classic dessert— the Red Bean Nian Gao 红豆年糕. Indulging in this auspicious sticky rice cake symbolises an abundance of wealth, infused with sweet and nutty bits of red bean.
