Chin Siu Ho saddened by stuntman's death

20 Jun – Martial arts actor Chin Siu Ho recently admitted that he is saddened by the recent passing of stunt actor Choi Kwok Keung.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who appeared at an event held by the Muay Thai Association, shared that Choi fell down while doing wire stunts in mainland China on 8 June.

"He was my senior in Shaw Brothers. I have known him since I was 15. I don't know, maybe it's because I am older now, I cry easily," he said.

Chin stated that Choi contributed a lot to the film industry, but ironically, it was the industry that took his life.

When asked whether there is a lack of safety precaution in mainland studios, Chin said that it's hard to say.

"I wouldn't dare comment on that. No one wanted it to happen. But I do hope that directors would pay more attention when it comes to action scenes since there is no such things as Take Two in real life," he said.

On the other hand, the Hong Kong Stuntman Association announced recently that they will help out with the funeral affairs.
