Cheryl Yang and Elva Hsiao deny falling out of friendship

28 May - Taiwanese stars Elva Hsiao and Cheryl Yang have recently dismissed rumours that the two of them have called it quits on their friendship.

As reported on Now News, the two friends, who have been each other's biggest supporters for the last 16 years, reportedly had a fall out due to Cheryl's decision to sign with Elva's former management company.

It is said that Elva is angry that the actress still signed a contract with them despite knowing that the singer had an issue with the company in the past.

Sources also stated that the two had since slowly become estranged to each other, and that it can be seen through their respective social media accounts. While Elva and Cheryl used to share a lot of photos together, there seemed to be a lack of new photos of them spending time with each other.

However, when asked about it recently, Cheryl's manager stated that the two stars are still good friends with each other.

"Their friendship will not be affected because of some rumours," the manager added.

Elva's camp also dismissed the rumours, saying that the singer has always treated Cheryl like her own sister, and that they will not let baseless rumours sway the relationship.
