Cheryl Yang admits new love

2 Jun - Taiwanese actress Cheryl Yang, who broke up with her photographer boyfriend last year, has recently admitted to being in a new relationship, as reported on Liberty Times.

The actress made the confession not long after photos of her date with a gentleman in a suit circulated online.

According to sources, the couple was seen having a lunch date on 31 May at the Red Kitchen restaurant in Da'an District, Taipei. The two of them were seen having a relaxed conversation, and remained calm even when a sudden earthquake occurred during their date.

It was reported that Cheryl's date is a 38-year-old entrepreneur named Ben, who is involved in oil equipment business.

In an interview with the media after the news came out, Cheryl admitted that the two of them have been together for over one month after knowing each other through church.

"He is quiet and shy. Definitely my type. He is smart, soft spoken, and a gentleman to boot," she enthused.

When asked if the two of them are thinking about marriage, Cheryl replied, "Everything comes naturally. I hope to be in a relationship for a little longer, at least a year before marriage. But if it's fate, I will not resist," she said.
