Cher goes full throttle in leather look for a summer film premiere

Cher went full throttle in an all-leather look at a Los Angeles film premiere on Monday (17 June), in spite of the summer season - because an icon doesn't need to follow the fashion rules.
Rule-breaking was also particularly on-point for the theme of the movie premiere for, The Bikeriders, which follows the story of rival biker gangs.
Cher walked the red carpet in black cargo trousers, a black lace bodice and cropped leather jacket, complete with a statement biker belt. The star was joined by her partner Alexander Edwards, who co-ordinated with her look in an all-leather ensemble for the event.
The pair shared a number of sweet moments together as they waved to the paparazzi. Alexander was seen giving Cher a kiss on the cheek, while the couple also held hands as they walked into the screening.
The Bikeriders stars Jodie Comer, Tom Hardy and Austin Butler, and some of the cast were also on hand for the premiere alongside guests including Sharon Stone and Sharon Osbourne.
Jodie also embraced leather for the event, but opted for a strappy maxi dress which she wore with a statement, oversized chain necklace. The actor posed with co-star Austin Butler, who wore a monochrome black look, opting for a suit jacket and trousers with a low-buttoned black shirt beneath.
