Chen Luyu jokes about looking like the Paris Olympics logo
24 Jul - Chinese host Chen Luyu is recently joining in on the fun after netizens took to social media to create memes from the emblem of Paris Olympics 2024.
Following the unveiling of the emblem, which combines the symbol of the gold medal, the flame, and Marianne, the personification of the French Republic, Chinese netizens were quick to notice that the logo looked so much like their own beloved TV personality.
So much so, that Luyu herself went online and commented on the Weibo account of her talk show, "A Date with Luyu", "Actually, even I have been brainwashed [to think that it looks like me]."
It is noted that almost everybody has their own take on the said logo, with the Brits saying that it resembles the "Coronation Street" character Gail Platt played by Helen Worth.
Meanwhile, the Americans are saying that the logo reminded them instead of Jennifer Aniston's character Rachel Green from "Friends".
