Cheer Chen, Tiger Chung ended relationship two years ago
13 May – Cheer Chen recently announced that she and music producer Tiger Chung have called it quits on their relationship.
As reported on Epoch Times, the Taiwanese singer shared the sad news on social media on 7 May with a joint statement that she and Tiger both signed, saying that the two of them have actually broke up two years ago and are now back to being friends.
"We have come to the point that we feel more comfortable being good friends. Even if we are not in a romantic relationship, we will forever be friends and working partners to one another. We will give eternal support, blessings, and remain true to each other," the statement read.
The former couple also stated that they have not doubted their love for each other after being together for more than a decade.
"Instead, it let us be more willing to love and be loved. To love someone is an adult thing to do," they added.
Prior to the announcement, Cheer was asked about their wedding plans in January, to which she responded, "There is no plan. I will share it with everybody if there is one."
