Charmaine Sheh to travel to Malaysia for new movie

20 Jun - Now that "Agent Mr. Chan" has wrapped up filming, Hong Kong actress Charmaine Sheh revealed that she will soon begin working on her first thriller, "Always By Your Side."

As reported on Mingpao, the actress who appeared at the premiere of Sammo Hung's new movie, "God of War", shared that she will be travelling to Malaysia for her new Herman Yau movie.

"We will be filming in Penang, and I will be working with Francis Ng and Julian Cheung again," said the actress, who worked with the two actors previously in the movie adaptation of TVB's "Triumph in the Skies".

Charmaine, who is playing a news reporter in the new movie shared that she has been spending a lot of time researching for her role.

"I had to do a lot of homework since I never played this type of character before. I also watched a lot of related films, series, and online videos," she said.

The upcoming movie also stars Louis Koo, Charlene Choi, and Gordon Lam.
