Charmaine Sheh avoids visiting Wuhan for the time being

7 Jan – Charmaine Sheh recently assured that she is not going to Wuhan anytime soon, thus will not expose herself to the recent pneumonia outbreak in the city.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who is currently focusing on her acting career in mainland China, stated that she intentionally made it so, so that she would not have any project in the said city since news of the viral condition made headlines.

"In addition, I will also take vitamins as supplements and take a lot of rest to improve my immunity," she added.

At the same time, Charmaine expressed hope that everything will return to normal soon.

More than dozens of people in the central city of Wuhan have been infected by a mysterious viral pneumonia since last week, which has now prompted other countries to bring in screening processes for travellers from the location in fear of virus related to SARS, or severe acute respiratory syndrome.

On the other hand, when mentioned that good friend Toby Leung recently gave birth to her first baby, the actress stated

that she has already seen the baby photos, but is unsure when she will have time to visit.

As to whether she had seen the spin-off of her previous hit drama "Story of Yanxi Palace" that is streaming on Netflix, the actress responded that she hasn't had the time, but would do so soon.

"I also look forward on working with the Yanxi team again in the future," she added.
