4 Feb – Following the success of "Fan Girl", Charlie Dizon is set to star in an upcoming ABS-CBN series.

The news was confirmed by the Kapamilya network on 3 February in a tweet that read, "Secret is out! #VIRAL soon on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Onlive Live, iWant TFC and A2Z Channel 11!"

The actress also expressed her happiness over the new project, writing on Instagram, "So excited for this project. Thank you Lord."

Aside from Dizon, the upcoming series will also star Dimples Romana and Jake Cuenca, and to be helmed by Dado Lumibao and Froy Allan Leonardo. The two directors previously worked on "The Killer Bride".

Other co-stars include Markus Paterson, Jameson Blake, Karina Bautista and Ria Atayde.

Dizon's last drama was a supporting role in the Gerald Anderson-starrer, "A Soldier's Heart". She has also played the lead in "Four Sisters Before the Wedding" - a prequel to the hit Cathy Garcia-Molina movie, "Four Sisters and a Wedding".

But it was not until she won Best Actress at the Metro Manila Film Festival for her role in 2020's "Fan Girl" that Dizon finally received all attention from fans and producers alike.
