Charlene Choi excited for movie's festival participation
11 Feb – Charlene Choi recently expressed happiness over news that her new movie is being selected for competition at the upcoming Osaka Asian Film Festival (OAFF).
As reported on Oriental Daily, the actress, who gave another daring performance in "The Lady Improper" following 2017's "Sara", shared that the news was like a Lunar New Year present to her.
When mentioned that she previously received a special honour at the 10th Osaka Film Festival for "Sara", Charlene said that she won't get too confident about her chances with the new movie.
"Awards are unpredictable. Every time I get a script, I would only focus at playing the character well. I would be just as happy if people accept my performance well," she said.
She is also happy for Tsang Tsui Shan, the director of the said movie.
"She is the latest female director around. I am happy to see more of them in Hong Kong now, and hopefully she would get recognised through this film," she said.
