Charis Ow is pregnant with first baby
3 Apr – Social media influencer, businesswoman and former Mouseketeer Charis Ow recently announced that she is pregnant with her first baby.
On 31 March, the TV personality shared the good news on social media with a video of her emulating Rihanna at the Super Bowl by wearing all red and showing off her baby bump while singing the singer's hit song, "Work".
Husband Daryll Tan also joined in on the fun in his white getup, dancing his heart out and rubbing his wife's tummy.
"You can call us - Ummi & Walid," she posted, referring to the Arabic term for "mum and dad".
She also stressed that it is not an April Fools' joke, seeing the timing of the announcement.
Many took to the comments to congratulate the couple, including fellow influencer Ceddy Ang, who posted, "OKKOKOK so I guess it's appropriate to say CONGRATULATIONS MAMA!!!!!!! And congratulation dad to be tooooo."
Charis married Daryll in July 2022, a year later than scheduled. The two were supposed to tie the knot in April 2021, but had to postpone the wedding due to the pandemic.
