Charis Ow is having a baby boy
20 Jun – Charis Ow recently revealed that she and husband Daryll Tan are having a baby boy.
The social media influencer and former Mouseketeer shared the good news via her YouTube channel on 19 June with a video from the gender reveal party.
Just like most usual gender reveal videos, the video showed guests of the couple choosing whether they are team girl or team boy, with several influencers also attending, including Nadhirah Zamani (Naddy Sushi) and husband Epul, as well as content creator Athisha Khan. Several activities were also held, including a diaper folding competition.
Daryll spoke prior to the popping of the balloon and revealed that it has been a long journey for the two of them, who previously suffered two miscarriages.
"Praise the Lord for this baby. So, when we pop this balloon, no matter it's a boy or a girl, we're going to love it the same, and this is a reminder to all of us as well to continue to love, continue to journey through, enjoy life and have a good support system," he said, before the two popped the large balloon to reveal small blue balloons.
Charis and Daryll announced the pregnancy on 1 April this year.
