Chan Wing Chun to marry Helen Ng next week
4 Jul – Veteran actor Chan Wing Chun recently revealed that he and fiancée, Helen Ng will be holding their wedding on 10 July.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor who shared his pre-wedding photos with the media recently, revealed that he and Helen will be saying "I do" in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Mid-Levels on the said date, and hold a 55-table banquet in the evening.
When asked about the wedding preparations, Chan smiled and said that there is nothing much to prepare, except to determine seating for the guests.
"Helen and I will be taking a break two days before the wedding, and we will then go and have our honeymoon on a Mediterranean cruise," he said.
Chan also revealed that a lot of his friends asked him why he decided to tie the knot again at an old age instead of just live with Helen together.
"Helen didn't care about taking my name and didn't ask for me to marry her. I just think that marriage is a very sacred vow, and that Helen should enjoy the experience of getting married and wearing a wedding gown since she has never been married before," he said.
The veteran actor successfully proposed to the actress back in December last year.
