Celina Harto denies forced hiatus by TVB

16 Feb – Miss HK 2020 runner-up Celina Harto has dismissed the notion that she had been "hidden away" by TVB for the past year, following the controversy surrounding her messy relationship.

As reported on Mingpao, the beauty queen, who made a rare appearance at the promotional event for the new series, "Mission Run" in Hong Kong on 14 February, shared that she had actually been busy working in mainland China for the past year.

"I rarely updated my social media accounts and focused on reading scripts. I filmed four dramas and even joined a drama class. I thank TVB for giving me the opportunity," she said.

When asked how it was working in mainland China, Celina stated that life was busy but very fulfilling.

Asked if her relationship issues have been resolved, she said, "It's over now. I am now focusing on work."

It was back in early 2022 when a netizen revealed that Celina, who was seeing singer Hinson Chou at the time, was actually also dating a non-celebrity named Andy. Hinson, angered by the revelation, later alleged that Celina had also been seeing five other men including artists Lincoln Hui and Jeremy Wong.

Celina had never directly confirmed nor deny the allegations, only apologising on social media and saying that she is sorry that the issue has implicated her colleagues.
