Celebs express condolences to Susanna Au Yeung's family

12 Jul - Stars recently expressed shock and extended their condolences to the family of late actress Susanna Au Yeung, upon hearing the news of her passing.

As reported on Mingpao, veteran actress Cecilia Wong, who admitted to have not seen Susanna for 30 years, said that she was stunned by the news, since she never heard about the actress' battle with cancer.

"She was an active person, and I never knew she had health issues. We haven't seen each other for a long time, but we did work together. She's very nice," she said.

Said Helena Law, "I have worked with her in a lot of dramas. She even played my daughter before. I am impressed with how dedicated she was with her work."

Actress Gigi Wong stated that Susanna has always been a low-key person, and believes that it was in her nature to keep her illness private.

On the other hand, Eric Tsang admitted to not being familiar with the actress, although stated that her death reminded him how fragile life is and that he should always be happy and celebrate life while he can.

Susanna Au Yeung passed away on 9 July after months of battling lung cancer. She was 63.
