The Celebrity MVPs of New York Fashion Week

At just about every fashion week, there's a celebrity whose presence is notably inescapable. Usually it's someone we wouldn't have expected to be so ubiquitous, or who hadn't made many front-row appearances in the past. Perhaps the week's shows dovetail conveniently with a star's promotional tour, or they're making a new effort to brand themself as a fashion girlie. Or maybe it's totally random. Whatever the reason, it's always fun to see what these new MVPs show up in, and where.

This season, instead of just one celebrity front-row MVP, we're highlighting several — though we are giving extra credit to Rachel Sennott and Paramore's Hayley Williams, who attended seven and six Spring 2024 New York Fashion Week events, respectively.

China's space officials said Thursday they welcomed scientists from around the world to apply to study the lunar rock samples that the Chang'e 6 probe brought back to Earth in a historic mission, but noted there were limits to that cooperation, specifically with the United States. Officials said at a televised news conference in Beijing meant to introduce the mission's achievements that any cooperation with the U.S. would be hinged on removing an American law that bans direct bilateral cooperation with NASA.
