We all thought the wrapped ponytails at the Suno AW16 show were interesting, but didn’t plan on trying the hairdo out…

Never afraid to try a new trend, Kim Kardashian gave the Suno runway look a go and rocked a velvet covered ponytail on Snapchat this weekend. And if she can work it, then perhaps we have a chance?

After black lipstick made a gothic appearance at Marc Jacobs AW16 show, it was clear the dark lippy would no longer be saved for Halloween.

We were all completely mesmerised when the Atelier Versace Haute Couture 2016 show featured dreamy glitter lips.

Fendi’s faux bobs back in September 2015 had us all wanting to lob our hair off. Pronto.

Although loads of celebs have gone for bob haircuts this year, some have even faked it for an evening just for a stylish look, a la Gigi Hadid at the American Music Awards.

We’re not going to lie, we were quite scared about the bleached eyebrow trend at Givenchy SS15 and really hoped it wouldn’t become mainstream….

But then Lady Gaga went and completely owned the bleached brow look at The British Fashion Awards 2015.

What could be more glamorous than gold flake hair? Topshop Unique’s 2011 show got us all obsessed with the trend, even if we all had no idea how to achieve it.

Rita Ora’s head-turning gold hair showed us that we could all get away with the magical look for a night out.

We all know that some of the beauty trends that surface on catwalks can be, erm, a bit of a shock.

From black lipstick to orange eyeshadow to bleached brows there’s no doubt the models look awesome - but we aren’t exactly brave enough to rock the look to work the next day.

Luckily, celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne have no fear when it comes to experimenting with new beauty trends. Try prove that that it is possible to make some looks mainstream - hence why we look to them for advice…
