Following the first run of her Las Vegas residency, Carrie Underwood's 74-year-old mom, Carole, suggested that everyone — including Underwood's two sisters — get matching tattoos.

“When your 74-year-old mother asks you and your sisters to get matching tattoos with her in Vegas, the only questions are, 'what?' and 'where?' " Underwood wrote alongside photos from the family outing.

In one shot, the "Before He Cheats" singer is seen sitting up on the table as the tattoo artist works on her foot, while another shot shows her smiling mom getting inked on her wrist.

In a post shared to Instagram in Jan. 2023, the Friends star said the family friends had added to their "16-year Christmas Eve tradition" with a photo of the fivesome all sporting the new tats.

Dern's kids Ellery Harper and Jaya both got the words "go long" followed by a paper airplane on their forearm while Cox's daughter Coco opted to place her paper plane on her shoulder.

"We might have sleeves by 2025," Cox quipped in her caption.

To kick off the new year, Tiffani Thiessen shared that she and her mom, Robyn Ernest had gotten another set of matching tattoos. The two previously got matching hearts on their arms back in 2022 and in Jan. 2024, the Saved by the Bell actress shared they were now both sporting butterflies on their hands.

Thiessen revealed that the tattoo not only paid homage to her grandmother, but it's also a nod to her upcoming 50th birthday.

"My mom and I both dedicated these tattoos to her," the cookbook author wrote of her grandmother. "She believed that butterflies symbolize transformation and rebirth and that after she left the human world, she would continue to show us she was with us in this form. 🦋"

Thiessen added, "It also seems fitting as I feel a new sense of transformation as I’m about to turn 50."
