Celebrities express sadness over Chan Pui Wah's passing
2 May - Celebrities recently took to social media to express their sadness over the passing of noted film producer Chan Pui Wah.
As reported on Mingpao, stars including Sammi Cheng, Andy Lau, Ada Choi, and Bowie Wu recently shared their feelings about the passing, with Sammi saying that she benefited a lot from working with Chan in the past and that the film producer has once helped strengthened her belief.
Ada took to Weibo to share a verse from Psalm 30:11, "You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy". She also wished Chan a safe journey to heaven.
Andy also posted a message on his Andy World Club blog, which read, "Your affable smile will always remain in our hearts!".
He added that Chan treated him like a family and that they worked together for years.
"Her passing would leave me missing her a lot, but I wish her a safe journey and would forever have Chan Pui Wah in my heart," he added.
