Hitting shelves as a gummy sweet back in 1992, Percy is now the most famous brand at M&S, and has dozens of products dedicated to his very name, and cute pink face. Currently, Marks & Spencer sell over 400 million individual Percy Pig sweets every year - over 20 million bags, with 38 bags sold every minute.

Percy has become an icon of his own, and there are currently over 50 Percy Pig items on the Marks & Spencer website - from slippers and PJs for the whole family, to dressing gowns and bath fizzers. And the sweets are still as popular as ever, with 12 types of Percy now in the range, including Phizzy Pigtails, his girlfriend Penny, and multicoloured Party Time sweets.

On July 23rd, Percy celebrated his 30th birthday, and in a lead up to his big day, the retailer shared a list of everything the loveable pig wanted to do before his latest milestone, with the hashtag #Percys30before30.

Earlier this month, Percy unveiled his very own pink plaque at Waterside Foodhall in Paddington, meaning that friends and fans of Percy can now go and see the home of Percy - perfect for a photo opportunity!

Talking of his birthday, Percy said “Well, I certainly don’t feel 30 on the inside but I’m very excited for all the celebrations this year and to finish ticking off all the things on my #30before30 list too! I’m going to be having picnics, sightseeing, meeting my fans and having a great big party with them all to celebrate too. It’s all very exciting! It feels like only yesterday I was meeting Penny, having the Piglets and going globetrotting with my pals, and there’s many more adventures yet to come. Bring it on!”

Fans of the very adorable pig can continue the birthady celebrations with the Percy Pig Celebration Cake Tin, that contains everything you need to create your very own party cake for just £8. The limited edition Percy's 30th Sweets are just £1.65, and feature Percy's whole body, not just that pretty face!

Percy can be found on Tik Tok and his videos get an average of 51k views each. Fans can keep up to date with his adventures on his socials, including his official Instagram account, which has over 84k followers. He has recently shared all of his latest challenges and the cheeky things he gets up to, including a bake off with Colin Caterpillar and riding The London Eye.
