Ceddy Ang frustrated over having to reschedule multiple times for a TV series' cameo
3 Nov - Ceddy Ang has recently lamented on the professionalism shown by a production team of a local TV series, after he had to rearrange his work activities multiple times due to some scheduling conflict.
Expressing his frustration on Instagram Threads, the content creator stated that he was supposed to do a cameo in the series and was pretty excited, except that he was told three times to reschedule.
"As it turns out, one of the main cast members is often unavailable. The sad part is because I have a scene with her, I have to follow her timing. Excuse me? What about MY jobs and schedule?" he expressed.
Ceddy, who is mostly a foodie vlogger in addition to helming other projects, stated that people often think that influencers and content creators are always "free" to do their bidding, and that they easily replaced him when he couldn't make it for the third rescheduling.
"How do you expect the industry to move forward with such lack of respect and discipline?" he asked.
Meanwhile, in response to a commenter who also worked in the film industry, Ceddy stated that he would understand if the said actress was sick or had something unfortunate happened for her to have had to reschedule, but found it unacceptable that it was rescheduled as the actress had another job to go to at another country.
His frustration was echoed by actress Chelsia Ng, who commented, "Wait till you actually get on set and have to wait for that ONE person to arrive so everyone can start shoot."
