Catriona Gray seeks NBI help over topless photo issue

22 Jul – Catriona Gray is seeking the help from the National Bureau of Investigation following the circulation of a topless photo of hers that she claims to have been fabricated.

As reported on Rappler, the beauty queen was recently spotted at the headquarters of the said bureau on 21 July, after confirming her intention to file a complaint in an interview with the media earlier at the launch of the Department of Trade and Industry's One Town One Product Programme.

Her attorney Joji Alonso echoed similar statement as well, saying, "We are actively coordinating with authorities to hold accountable whoever is behind this scheme and face penal sanctions accordingly. We will likewise take legal action against those involved in the manufacture and publication of the said photo."

Alonso previously revealed that a photo of Gray in a bathtub was recently circulated online, with some netizens believing it to be true. She then explained that the photo was digitally altered from Gray's 2014 BENCH ad.
