Cate Blanchett dazzles at Cannes in sequinned gold blouse
Cate Blanchett dazzled at the Cannes Film Festival as she attended the photocall for her upcoming film Rumours on Sunday.
The actress looked effortlessly cool in a slouchy gold jumper, styled with fitted leather trousers. The glitzy number featured long-sleeves and was adorned with sequins.
She elevated her outfit with a pair of classic black stilettos and a chunky black and gold chain bracelet, while her short hair was styled into loose curls for a relaxed yet put together look.
Cate's new movie, which premiered on Saturday night at Cannes to a five-minute standing ovation, is described as a dark comedy and follows a group of world leaders who meet at the G7 but get stranded in the woods.
Directed by Guy Maddin, it also stars Alicia Vikander, Charles Dance and Nikki Amuka-Bird.
This year marks the 77th annual Cannes Film Festival and there were plenty of other recognisable stars in attendance for the occasion.
