  • Cassie Randolph “wants to move forward” after her messy split from Colton Underwood.

  • Cassie isn’t looking to get into a new relationship anytime soon.

Cassie Randolph is leaving all her relationship drama behind her. After she and Colton Underwood broke up last spring, she’s refusing to put any more energy into their split. Please note that Colton is currently writing a new chapter for his book and spilling deets about their v messy breakup (we’ll get back to that later).

“Cassie just wants to move forward in life with stuff she has going on like settling into her new place. She definitely doesn’t want to bring up her past again,” a source tells Us Weekly. “It’s exhausting for her to deal with his version of things, so she’s chosen to not make any remarks or give into it anymore.”

The insider continues, “The last thing she’s looking for right now is to jump into a new relationship. She’s happy with her life at the moment and finds comfort being with her family and close friends. She’s looking forward to this year being a fresh start for her.”

Cassie Randolph reportedly filed (and later dropped) a restraining order against her ex Bachelor boyfriend, Colton, after claims that he put a tracking device on her car. He later released a statement to TMZ, saying, “Today, Cassie asked the court to dismiss the temporary restraining order against me. The two of us were able to reach a private agreement to address any of Cassie’s concerns. I do not believe Cassie did anything wrong in filing for the restraining orders and also believe she acted in good faith. I appreciate everyone’s respect for privacy regarding this matter.”

So, yes, their breakup was hella complicated and now Colton is telling his side of the story in his book, The First Time. Cassie has accused him of “trying to monetize” their relationship by adding a new chapter that will include personal details about their split. Us Weekly recently released an excerpt from the book:

“After more than a month of being cooped up in her family’s home, both of us were feeling overwhelmed and smothered and eager to return to our respective apartments where we could enjoy our own space,” he wrote. “Before we left, though, she took me aside and told me she was struggling with everything in our relationship and didn’t know what to do. My head spun like one of those characters in a cartoon. What? She was struggling with everything?”

Like we said... messy.
