Casetify launches the ultimate Clear Case, the most optimised to prevent yellowing
Global tech accessory brand Casetify has recently unveiled the clearest and most protective Clear Case for the mass market. The most striking feature is its material, which is optimised to prevent yellowing and provide long-lasting clarity.
Equipped with UV Defender technology, the Clear Case is tested against UV light and staining liquids such as mustard, red wine and coffee. It provides the strongest protection against discolouring, a common problem faced by clear case owners.
With a scratch-resistant finish, the Clear Case can look good as new for a more extended period. It has also passed military-grade standards of protection and withstood drops of 6.6 feet (about two metres). To top it off, the Clear Case uses 65 per cent recycled and plant-based materials in its production. This is part of Casetify’s Re/Casetify programme, which recycles unwanted and used cases that customers can send to the brand in exchange for store credits. Beyond the supply chain, the Clear Case is shipped in 100 per cent recyclable packaging.
Striking a perfect balance between a sleek, clean look and strong protective features, the Clear Case also comes with a customisable version. You can make it a gift or showcase your personality by adding names, initials, and patterns in different colours.
We had the opportunity to get our hands on two of Casetify’s Clear Cases — Lucky Cat and Funny Doodle Kitty Cats Pattern — which have a simple yet sturdy structure.
Under certain angles, the case reflects a subtle bluish-grey light, which I believe is how it overcomes the issue of clear cases turning yellow after prolonged use. Since blue and yellow are complementary colours, they cancel each other out to produce grey.
If this theory is correct, prolonged use will first turn the Clear Case grey — essentially into a dull clear case. It is only when the “yellow” overcomes the “blue” will the case starts to become yellowish.

The only issue is the Clear Case is too robust to make swapping cases a breeze. Surely, with a wide range of designs and prints to suit different occasions, isn’t it difficult to only get one Clear Case?
