Carlos Chan and Shiga Lin are engaged
9 Jun – After keeping mum about their relationship for a long time, Carlos Chan and Shiga Lin recently announced that they are now engaged.
As reported on Mingpao, following reports that the 35-year-old actor proposed to the singer on her 34th birthday, Carlos confirmed with the media that he has indeed popped the question.
"Thank you for your concern. I am so very grateful," he enthused.
Asked about their wedding plans, Carlos said that there is no definitive plan for the time being, as they are still busy with work.
"We will focus on completing our work first, because planning a wedding and preparing for it will require a lot of energy and time. We will share the good news with you later," he added.
The two met and became close friends while filming the travel show, "12 Summers". Although they had been seen going on dates since then, both Carlos and Shiga have kept mum about the nature of their relationship.
Prior to Shiga, Carlos was in a long-term relationship with actress Jennifer Yu, who is also now married.
