Carlos Chan plans for a mid 2023 wedding
19 Oct - Carlos Chan recently revealed that he and fiancée Shiga Lin are planning to tie the knot next year.
The actor, who appeared at the press conference of TVB's new drama, "Into the Space" (working title) on 17 October, stated that the two of them have decided to get married in the middle of 2023, though unsure on the exact date for now.
"Our jobs are scheduled until March next year, and Shiga also has received an opportunity to work outside of Hong Kong," he said.
As for the bridesmaids and groomsmen, Carlos said that half of them would be their friends in showbiz, including Kaki Sham.
Asked if his employer, Albert Yeung would sponsor the wedding and gift them a new apartment like he did at Gillian Chung's wedding, Carlos responded, "I wouldn't dare ask. In fact, it would be a great honour if he is willing to attend my wedding."
Carlos and Shiga announced their engagement in June this year, after months of rumoured romance.
