Carlos Chan and Michelle Wai to star in EMP-One Cool collaboration
15 Jul – While the pandemic has been causing havoc on people's livelihood, 2020 seems to be a good year for Carlos Chan, who is set to star in another movie to be co-produced by Emperor Motion Picture and One Cool Films.
As reported on Oriental Daily News, the actor will be working alongside good friend Michelle Wai in the upcoming movie, "Soon to be Married" (working title), which will revolve around the relationship between a modern man and woman.
Speaking to the media about the upcoming project, Carlos joked that he is prepared to "hold back laughter", seeing that he and Michelle will have romantic scenes together.
"The two of us have been learning how not to laugh during rehearsal and even made a bet on who would lose it first. The loser would have to treat the cast and crew after production wraps up," he said.
On the other hand, Michelle said that she is excited about working in a film again, after having her projects halted for the past six months due to the pandemic.
"I also recommended the script of this movie to the company, so I feel like having a baby that is about to be born," she enthused.
