Carlo Aquino to star in international project

12 Sep – Carlo Aquino has recently landed his first international role.

The news was announced by Star Magic on 10 September with a photo of the actor at the signing event held recently.

"Carlo Aquino, together with Star Magic Head @direklauren, signed a movie project with Philippine independent production house High Road Creatives and Japan's 034 Productions. Filming is set to be begin early next year," the caption read.

No further information has been revealed about the project for the time being, but it is noted that this is not the first time that the actor has been offered a role in an international project.

Carlo was originally cast to play a role in "Squid Game" last year, but couldn't make it due to COVID-19 restrictions at the time.

His latest film is the Julia Barretto-starrer, "Expensive Candy".
