Carina Lau and Dodo Cheng clarify past feud rumour
8 Apr – Carina Lau and Carol "DoDo" Cheng have ended once and for all, rumours that they had a fall out in the past.
The actress and TV personality recently sat down as a guest on Carina's talk show, where both of them addressed the supposed feud between them.
It is noted that the conflict reportedly occurred in the late '90s, when the two worked together in the 1998 TVB series, "The Feud of Two Brothers". It was said that the famously punctual DoDo was unhappy that Carina was late to the set and didn't memorise her lines during a scene.
Speaking about the feud, DoDo said that the rumours were severely exaggerated.
"I was angry with you, yes, but there were reports saying that I hit you. Thank you very much, we can now clarify. Carina and I filmed a TV series. One day, all the actors were there. I saw that everyone had arrived but Carina."
DoDo said that she gently asked, "When will the announcement be made?" but that some people might have heard it and made the matter a bigger deal than it was.
