CarGel couple feels pressured to rekindle romance

7 Sep – Angelica Panganiban and Carlo Aquino recently admitted that they do feel pressured by their fans to rekindle their romance and become a couple again.

As reported on Inquirer, the actress, who spoke about their relationship at the press conference of their upcoming movie, "Exes Baggage", admitted that it's hard not to feel pressured into getting back together with Aquino, though she would try not to let the fans' words affect her own decision.

As for Aquino, the actor stated that he will just go with the flow.

"Whatever happens, happens. We will just enjoy each other's company," he said.

Aquino also stated that his relationship with Panganiban has always been a cordial one despite their previous breakup, and that they still communicated even when they were dating other people in the past.

"But it was not as frequent as now, since we see each other every day nowadays," he said.

On the other hand, "Exes Baggage" is set to premiere on 26 September.

The two stars, known to fans by the tandem CarGel, dated for six years during the early years of their career before ending it in 2007. Panganiban's last relationship before her reunion with Aquino was with actor John Lloyd Cruz.
