The Cannes red carpet never disappoints. For over 75 years, the film festival has been one of the most notable dates on the cultural calendar, and with it brings a whole host of show-stopping red carpet looks.
It's a who’s who of famous faces. Hollywood movie stars such as 2018 jury president Cate Blanchett and Angelina Jolie cross paths with major movie industry players like Pedro Almodóvar and Sofia Coppola – and even sometimes royalty –, and they all come dressed to impress.
Jury members have upped their sartorial game as they take centre stage at the week-long event held on the French Riviera, with Brie Larson already making moves on the 2023 Opening Ceremony red carpet in Chanel Haute Couture.
A wealth of supermodels have flown in for the illustrious film festival over the years, too.
Some, in the form of actors’ dates, such as Elizabeth Hurley when she joined her then-partner actor Hugh Grant and others as ambassadors for big fashion brands, such as Naomi Campbell in the Nineties and Bella Hadid in recent years.
